Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Get2Therapy, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Get2Therapy provides access to Aria, an AI assistant designed to support communication and reflection in relationships. Aria is trained on evidence-based relationship therapy frameworks including the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Nonviolent Communication.

Get2Therapy is NOT:

• A licensed mental health service
• A substitute for licensed couples therapy, individual psychotherapy, or psychiatric care
• A crisis intervention service
• A medical or clinical service of any kind

Aria's responses are AI-generated and may not be appropriate for every situation. We strongly encourage all users to also work with licensed mental health professionals, especially for serious issues.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Get2Therapy. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. The platform is available internationally, but we make no representation that it is appropriate or legal in every jurisdiction.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@get2therapy.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not share your account with others, create multiple accounts for abusive purposes, or use the platform to harass or harm others.

You agree not to use Get2Therapy to:

• Attempt to circumvent safety protocols, including crisis resource referrals
• Transmit abusive, threatening, or illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying AI models or prompts
• Use automated tools to access the platform without our written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

The free plan includes a limited number of messages per week. Paid plans provide higher usage limits and additional features. If you subscribe, billing is handled securely by Stripe through a hosted checkout and customer portal.

Prices may be displayed in USD on our site for readability, while the final checkout amount is charged in CAD. The Stripe checkout page controls the billed amount and currency for your purchase.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

The Get2Therapy platform, including Aria's underlying prompts, design, and code, is the intellectual property of Get2Therapy Inc. Your session content remains yours. We do not claim ownership over what you share in sessions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Get2Therapy Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any harm resulting from reliance on Aria's responses.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Aria's responses will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for your situation.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or an emergency, do not rely on this platform. Call your local emergency services (911 in Canada and the US), go to your nearest emergency room, or contact a crisis line in your area. In Canada, you can call or text 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline).

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
